With over 25 years of clinical and surgical experience, Dr. Blatt and his team combine advanced technology, academic excellence, and individualized treatment to deliver the highest quality vision care — particularly for personal injury patients experiencing ocular trauma or visual disturbances following accidents.

A board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist, Dr. Blatt specializes in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus, treating complex eye muscle disorders and trauma-related vision issues. He completed his undergraduate studies at Duke University, earned both a Master’s Degree and Medical Degree from Washington University School of Medicine, and completed his Ophthalmology Residency at Barnes Hospital followed by a Fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus at Tufts University School of Medicine.

Currently serving as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at Washington University School of Medicine, Dr. Blatt is deeply committed to education, mentoring medical students, residents, and optometry students, and has been recognized as Ophthalmology Teacher of the Year by clinical faculty. He continues to lecture for professional organizations including the St. Louis Optometric Society and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

For personal injury cases, Saint Louis Eye Care Specialists offers detailed evaluations, diagnostic imaging, and treatment plans to address eye trauma, double vision, muscle misalignment, and other post-accident visual impairments. The practice collaborates closely with attorneys, rehabilitation professionals, and insurers to ensure accurate medical documentation and expert ophthalmic reporting that supports both patient recovery and legal case development.

Active in the local community, Dr. Blatt has served as a volunteer ophthalmologist at the Missouri School for the Blind and is a Board Member at the Lighthouse for the Blind in St. Louis. His professional memberships include the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, American Academy of Ophthalmology, Missouri Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons, and the St. Louis Ophthalmological Society.

With a foundation built on academic excellence, clinical precision, and compassionate care, Saint Louis Eye Care Specialists stands as a trusted resource for ophthalmology in personal injury cases — helping patients heal, restore vision, and move forward after trauma.
